Carbohydrates

- Carbohydrates are different forms of simple sugars conected into polimers
- Carbohydrates that do not turn instantly into energy, get stored in the form of glycogen (joined molecules of glucose) in liver and muscles
- Carbohydrates differ from each other by the speed of  entrance into the blood stream- Glycemic indeks (good or bad)

GOOD - low glycemic indeks, they enter blood stream at slower rate and they elevate blood sugar levels fairly slow

BAD - they usually have high glycemic indeks, they enter blood stream pretty fast and they elevate blood sugar levels extremly fast and also, they produce effusive insulin reaction

-So, using carbohydrates with high glycemic indeks will not only make you gain weight but also, it will help you maintain that unhealthy state.
