Proteins
roteins- main structural material of our body cells and enzymes that govern them.
Amino acids, which make proteins, are the basis of life on earth.
-
By consuming proteins we stimulate the hormone glucagon, that has a
primary task of releasing stored carbohydrates, in the form of glucoze,
from the liver
- No matter what source do we get them from (fish,
white poultry meat, soya beans, egg- white, milk), right amount of
proteins is dependant on 3 factors: your weight, the percentage of fat
in your system and on level of your physical activity.
- One needs to consume proteins of all origin- animal or vegetable
- By protein consumption, one is ensured that body is receiving amino acids needed for normal function of entire body.
